Vesaus stood, gaping at the battle. As the two titan-like people, when it came to their attacks, clashed together, Vesaus decided that he couldn't help at all. As he slowly backed away, he bumped into Lékayes, who had locked up. Turning around startled, he looked at her eyes and said. "Yes. You we're right. These people are nice." Quickly he seized her arm and started bolting the seen with her. They hadn't gotten completely out of earshot of the cabin before a giant shockwave shock the ground.
"What's going on!" Lékayes yelled, coming back to her senses and holding onto a tree. As she glanced back, she could the destruction was widespread. Oh my.... We better go back and make sure everythings okay! She thought, remembering what she had seen going on. Immediatly she started pulling up some mana into a reserve, just incase there was still something there.
Before Vesaus could protest, Lékayes was running back into the battlefield. Damn. What is she always thinking. She could get killed easily. He thought, a very troubled look coming onto his face. Quickly, he pulled out his two swords and started running after her.
As she ran, Lékayes didn't have time to process what she was seeing. Moving rocks? But... Thats not right. Rocks don't just move. Unless they're like in an avalanche... But thats snow.. By the time she saw what it really was, she was so close that she literally fell backwards and stared at. Nearly imediatly she had been dragged to her feet and pulled back a bit by Vesaus. The two stared in unison in the one big eye of the creature, unmoving.

Kapu met Kriven's blood red eyes with gold. He flicked Harmony into the air casually, eying the rock creature carefully. Dangit, he couldn't kill him, or else he'd really catch it from everyone else. Well, it couldn't hurt to put on a show, at least for now. He'd come up with something later.
"You know," he said slowly. He caught Harmony one last time and quickly drained as much sonic energy from the bomb as he could without creating a noticeable difference in the sphere's appearance before hurling it high into the air. "I wasn't lying when I said I've destroyed castles with this." As the blazing, but now weakened, bomb returned to earth, Kapu tore Whirr out of the ground, opening her and swinging upwards to send a mighty gust of air to throw Harmony back high into the sky.
"Want to guess what that castle was made of, Stony?" He asked with a laugh. Kapu slowly retreated towards the house, his hands beginning to glow with magical energy. "I'll give you a hint: it wasn't wood." With that, he raised a finger to point at Harmony, which was now no more than fifty feet above Kriven's head.
"Hark, the angels sing," he intoned with a grin. At his gesture, the sphere exploded into an expanding blue circular ring, moving perpendicular to the ground. If Kapu had set it off normally, which had Harmony spread outwards parallel to the earth, the house and everyone unaware of the weapon would have been shorn apart.
The explosion was odd in that it was completely silent, which was a good thing. Harmony caused destruction through sonic energy: being able to hear the thing going off meant you were about a millisecond away from being either permanently deafened or having your head cut in two.
Kriven, even if he was hit, would probably sustain no major injuries. The full fledged Harmony had brought down an entire castle before, in addition to a good part of the surrounding forest, but the weakened version could probably do little more than put a few cracks into his stony body.
But you know.

Kysho wasn't one who liked to fight. He was like a soggy muffin in battle, not able to take a hit or give a powerful blow, which why stealing and stealth were naturally more his style. He heard the deafening noises and screams outside, but the thing was, he didn't really care. Let them do their silly fighting... I'll just eat some of this here food, and maybe while they're distracted I can pocket something to sell at the next city... It sounded like a good idea to him at the moment; nothing could go wrong while they were all preoccupied with their battle, right?
The thief eyed the table, searching around for something that he could eat with his hands. Spying a few dinner rolls, he snatched one up and stuffed one in his mouth, pocketing the others. As Kysho left the dining room to enter the foyer, he began to chew softly on his roll. The light buttery taste filled his mouth, and he swallowed it before popping another one in.. Tasty. Almost makes me feel bad for this. But not really. He peered into the kitchen and spotted people in there. He quickly withdrew his head and blinked a few times. "I thought they were all outside," he mumbled outloud. Kysho heard footsteps coming toward him, and he realized he didn't exactly whisper that. The brunette made a run in the other direction and made a sharp right, ending up in the bathroom. Good thing no one's in here... He swiftly closed the door, careful not to slam it, and locked the door.
As Kysho meandered through the bathroom, he peeked in the mirror. He hadn't seen himself since the time he tripped and fell into a river on his way from the last town. After patting own his hair and smoothening out his scarf, he made his way for the other door leading towards the stairs, but the knocked over trash can in the corner caught his eye. He wasn't usually one to look inside trash cans, as he thought that was gross, even for a thief to do, but he noticed feathers in it. ...That's like a weird hobby, feather collecting or something. The boy raised an eyebrow oddly before averting his attention back to the task at hand. Shoving another roll in his mouth, Kysho left the bathroom, leaving the door open behind him. No one would notice, right? The other door was locked, after all, and what kind of idiot would try to get into a locked bathroom? That would be gross.
Creeping up the stairs, Kysho made sure not to squeak the steps. He remembered an episode back at he thieves guild, one day when they were stealth training. They had to walk on these weird floorboards in a hallway, and if their footsteps were too heavy, arrows would be triggered to shoot out of the walls. Not very fun. When he completed his ascension to the top, Kysho was proud that he only squeaked once, an achievement he accomplished rarely. Usually I squeak a bunch. Weird.
For the sake of time, the thief snuck into the closest room: the first room to the left. The door was actually left open, too; less work for him. He would probably squeak the doorknob if he had to open it, anyways. Kysho glimpsed inside, and was instantly taken aback by all the white feathers sprawled out on the bed. More feathers? Weird. Casually strolling past the bed, Kysho stopped at a wooden dresser made out of cherry wood, and he noticed its many drawers. Ooh, which one to open first...? ...Eenie, meanie, miney, mo. He settled on the first one from the top, because it was the largest. Grasping on the handle, he slowly pulled it open, a shrill squeaking sound emitting from the drawer, causing Kysho to flinch, wincing as he pulled until it was open all the way.
Staring inside, Kysho's mind was screaming at him to take it all and run. All the jewelry would surely fetch a hefty price at the next city he ended up in, but it seemed that it would be a tad bit heavy. He would have to pick and choose. The boy nibbled on a dinner roll as he pondered over what to take. Ehh, I'll just take whatever looks the shiniest... The shinier, the better, right? Or something like that.
Kysho opened his loot sack and set it gently on the ground. There was nothing inside, but he was used to being gentle with it. Turning his attention back to the drawer, the thief stuck his hands inside and rustled around, his roll hanging nonchalantly from his teeth as he used both hands. He was being a bit rough, and a necklace flew out of the drawer to land directly in his sack. He blinked confusedly at how that managed to happen. Maybe that thing was just meant to be stolen. I'll just leave it be.
After he was done, a pink bracelet and chocolate brown broach somehow just "flew" into the bag, too. Satisfied with himself, Kysho tied his sack back up and latched it onto his belt. He glanced down at it, hoping the bulging bump on his side wasn't too noticable. The brunette stealthily snuck out of the room and down the stairs, only squeaking 3 times. Not as good as the first time, but descending was harder for him than ascending.
Standing in the still locked bathroom, Kysho was about to open the door when he thought about something. Should I head back to the dining room and act like nothing happened, or run away? His stomach had a say in it, and he slunk back to the dining room, trying to hide his bulge as best as he could. If anyone asked, it was a dead squirrel he killed a while ago and was thinking of eating. But who would eat an unskinned dead squirrel? He wasn't that desperate.
Sitting back at the table, Kysho quickly grabbed a plateful of food and began to eat it calmly as if he had been here the whole time. After all, he had been eating the whole time, right? Right...

[Sorry for my non-responsivness...ness)
Kriven stood motionless, watching the bomb draw closer. At a final point it released it's burden. Though nothing heard, nothing seen accept for the expression of pain on the demonic beasts face, nothing was really altered. Cracks and erosion slithered up from the lower pieces of the gargoyle-like body, and small chunks of stone fell loose, landing dully on the soft dirt below.
A low hiss emitted from the beasts open mouth. A drop of saliva dropped from one stony fang, splattering onto the ground. A sort of grin stretched across the monstrosity's face, it's eyes shocked, happy and pissed all at once. Without much of a sound, it raised one large claw into the air, then forcefully brought it downward. The claw easily burrowed itself into the ground, tearing up dirt and what little grass was left. The creature again looked up to face his prey, now realising that Kapu wasn't a push over as Krovon was. The monster released another snake-like hiss.
The claw dug deeper into the earth, and as it stopped the ground began to quiver and shake. Pebbles danced on the dust covered ground, lizards and insects ran for cover, but knew they could not escape. The wind seemed to alter direction, seeming to come from all directions to meet at where Kriven rested. Then it reversed, spreading in all directions away from Kriven. And just behind the wind, jagged rocks and pointed stones rose from the earth, swords of the Earth's demonic forms.
Row after row of the jagged rocks jutted from the ground, each row getting dangerously close to not only Kapu, but everyone and everything. When finally the rocks blocked the doorway into the house... they burst from the floor, rising up from beneath wood, threatening to slice anyone inside. Splinters flew through the air, pots and plates crashed to the ground once more, shattering. In other rooms books fell, and wardrobes toppled over.

Vesaus stood, drawing his swords after the monster seemed to take some damage from an unknown source. He took a step back as the creature dug his claws deeper and deeper into the ground. Not taking his eyes away, he put his hand on Lékayes's shoulder, saying, "I want you to get back. I don't know whats going to happen, and it would be better if you used your magic from affar anyway." Not responding, Lékayes started to run away from the monster.
Almost imediatly after the ground began to shake, and Vesaus stumbled and fell on one knee trying to gain balance. Even the wind seemed to try to push him over, but quickly he got to his feet again, knowing something was coming. After a short amount of time, Vesaus felt the wind stop. Barely having time to ready, the wind changed direction, away from the monster, bringing with it spikes of rock from the ground.
Vesaus's eyes grew wide as he saw the spikes springing up, getting closer and closer. Barely thinking, but thinking quickly, he sprinted toward where the rocks were coming up. Readying himself, he waited until he was extremely close to the springing up death rocks before launching himself forward, up through a small gap between the rocks.
Though he moved as fast as he can, he wasn't fast enough, and one of the rocks shot up and hit his left leg. Luckily, it didn't cut him much, and rather just pushed him into a front flip. Loosing his balance in the air, he flip all the way forward, before hitting his back on a flat rockface while upside down. Imediaty he sort-of crumbled on the ground, groaning. Luckily, he didn't get any serious injurys, but he would definatly be sore when he could move.

Trying something new right now... XD And I'm using Red's prettiful sig to do it. :3 Ari's eyes widened as the battle progressed. This wasn't good... not good at all. Her friends were being pitted against each other through a stroke of ill fate. She frantically looked at Elaviel who was also focused on the battle from afar. Kriven gained an enormous amount of power from turning into this monster. Would he ever change back? Maybe he would remain like this for the rest of his life... at that rate, either he would have to die before he killed everyone or someone will have to end his life first. "Oh, Lavi! There has to be something we can do to help! He can't stay like this forever!" The half elf turned to look at her companion... Elaviel was an angel and her light magic could probably do something to help. Maybe. At least, she could only hope for so much.
Elaviel grimaced as a jolt of pain erupted from her side. Yep, her guess was right-- she did break a couple of ribs. Her eyebrows narrowed in frustration. This was partially her fault. If she had only hacked Krovon's head off instead of his arm, none of this would have happened. She wouldn't be in immense pain right now, Kapu's house wouldn't be in shambles and Kriven wouldn't be in his demonic state. "Ari..? Do you think you could heal me really quickly? I might have a spell that can reverse this curse." The angel smiled weakly as beads of sweat formed on her forehead. If those doesn't work, it could end in disaster... She shifted so that Ari could ease her to the ground lightly.
The half-elf quickly tucked her hair behind her ears and got to work, nodding as she lifted up Elaviel's shirt to take a look at the broken bones. "Lavi, what'd you do to yourself? You're such a mess! Goodness... you better be glad that it wasn't your head that hit that tree!" Regardless of her light scolding, Ari muttered a few incantations, a glowing white light surrounding her hand, while she tended to her friend. With a sound that may be a bit a bit intolerable for squeamish people, Elaviel's ribs were merged back in place without as much as a small scar. "There you go; that should do it for now!" Ari's healing skills had improved immensely from the time she had first left Exire. She discovered that they would be more than useful on her journey and she studied to perfect those abilities.
"Thanks," Lavi said quickly as the pain dissipated into a tingly sensation. She could finally move again. Granted, she still had numerous bruises, cuts and other minor injuries through her body, but the majority of it was gone. The angel brushed her exhaustion aside and sprang to the rescue with Ari following close behind. Although her body was completely fatigued, she knew what she had to do. She ran right up to the monster, kicking him rather hard in the shin. "Over here, you vile beast!" Obviously, Kriven wasn't exactly sane at the moment so she wasn't too keen on sparing his feelings. She just wanted to get his attention. And hopefully, she had it.

As per usual, Cyrus was sleeping on the roof. Ever since his youth, he'd never been comfortable in a bed... rigid surfaces (like the roof) were always better for his back. So, whenever he got the chance, he'd make for the floor or the roof or the backyard for sleeping, as long as he could do so without seeming rude.
The emphasis here, sadly, is on was. Even if it was soundless, the blast of energy was still bright enough to rouse him from sleep. He snapped to his feet by instinct, immediately casting about for the source of his wakefulness. He didn't have to look far.
Calculating eyes took in the stone demon in the yard, the fighters around it, and the bomb of energy mid-explosion over its head. Immediately he began to formulate a counter-measure for repelling the threat. As he began to open the necessary channels, his vision blanked out in pure panic as something he wasn't prepared for happened.
Ari and some other angel charged forward; the angel kicked the demon in the shin, just as it raised a stony arm to swing at them.
Not if I can help it. Channels to Water and Earth were quickly abandoned, and new channels to Wind were opened; a portal formed behind him, then wrenched open to launch him towards the demon with obscene amounts of speed. He had already formed a portal to Fire at the tip of his hand, getting ready to launch a beam of white-hot flame at the demon as soon as he was in range.
If you think you can hurt my angel, you've got another thing coming, whatever you are!

((Totally crappy post. >.>))
Meanwhile, long away and far ago... in the flourishing city of Meltokio, a single girl wandered through the streets. She was dressed in a slender outfit with long, flowing sleeves. Her tunic ran towards the ground and drifted right above her ankles, while her pants dragged ceremoniously along the dusty, cobblestone paths. Her long, wavy hair ran, rippling along with the wind, wild and carefree although still behaved. Emerald eyes focused on a wooden sign swinging above a door, and the girl entered. Remede searched around, only to see rowdy men gathered around circular tables and a counter, laughing loudly with each passing joke.
She tossed her hair back, and ignored the rest of the crowd, marching up to the bartender. Plopping down on one of the stools, she paid no attention to any onlookers and ordered something to drink. While she waited to be served, her fingers played with a ruby ring she had pulled out of her pouch. What could it be? she wondered, remembering how she found it simply lying along the busy streets. Perhaps one of those classy noble woman dropped it as they ran along spreading Sunday's gossip. Remede mentally shrugged.

Ryuu groggily lifted his head up from the bar counter, keeping his hand firmly grasped around the handle of his empty mug. He looked over at the new person sitting beside him and saw a rather attractive girl playing with a ruby ring, as if it was the most normal thing to do.
"S'cuse me, miss." He started. He vaguely thought that his messy, tangled hair and naturally tired eyes probably gave the off the impression of someone who was drunk. The fact that he was resting his head on the counter not moments before probably wouldn't help such an assumption. "It's not really my business, but playing with a ring like that in the open isn't exactly the most safe thing to do, you know?"

Her thoughts were lost in a random mix of images when she heard someone speaking to her. At bars, it seemed to be normal to block out what others were saying. But this person speaking to her didn't seem to mean any harm. "Eh?" she asked curiously, her calm voice sounding like a whisper in the crowded room. "Oh, don't mind me. This isn't even mine." Remede tucked the ring back into her pouch, ignoring the man who had just spoken to her. He was probably drunk anyway, from the looks of it.
She thanked the bartender with both word and coin as he handed her a glass of clear liquid. Her green eyes stared at the liquor for a few seconds before she brought it to her lips for a small sip. Bang! Seems like someone got into a fight. Remede's head turned at a 90 degree angle to see one man throw another up against the wall. Apparently, he had lost at a gambling game of poker and he wasn't too happy about it. Remede simply shrugged. She was rather used to this behavior and thought nothing of it. This kinda of stuff was to be expected when she explored bars and taverns. It probably wasn't the wisest thing to do but she did it anyway.

"...you didn't steal that, did you?" Ryuu asked off-handedly. Suddenly, the sound of chinking glasses, falling chairs, and a slamming of a human body against the wall took Ryuu's attention away from the swindling woman in front of him, and to what used to be a poker match across the room. The bartender had stopped cleaning the mug he was holding, and stared, annoyed at the outburst.
Ryuu blinked at the fight. Judging from the words he picked out from the endless slurring of obscenities, the attacker lost the hand and was calling the other a cheater. Glancing at the table, he noticed that the losing hand was a two-eight off-suited, while the winning hand was a pair of sevens. Also noticing the plethora of empty mugs on the table, the loser was obviously smashed beyond normal human comprehension.
Ryuu suddenly recalled someone he knew who could drink that much and speak coherently... well, as coherent as she got, at least. His head gave a remembering throb and he suddenly longed to rest his head on the bar again. Suddenly, he remembered the girl he was speaking to.
"Hey, watch this," he said with a glamerous smirk on his face. He stood up, and strode arrogantly across the room to the yelling man--who was twice Ryuu's girth, and tapped him on the shoulder. The man let the winner down a bit, and turned to Ryuu.
"Th' hell ya' want, yeh' li'l piessa..." he grumbled threateningly.
"You suck at poker," Ryuu said flatly. "Accept your defeat and pay the man."
"Ya' rancid dog!" The man yelled, promptly dropping the winning player and turning his fists on Ryuu. Because the man was slobbingly drunk, Ryuu easily side-stepped the first attack, and stepped forward, dipping down grabbing a stool, before swinging it in an upward arc, hitting the man in the chin. The man let out a bellow, and fell on his hind. "Ya' damned chea'er!" he yelled, rubbing his jaw. "Usin' the stool ain't no fair!"
"Fine," Ryuu said, placing the stool back on the floor. "Hand-to-hand, then," he offered, a smirk gracing his face. The man roared and ran towards Ryuu, who jumped out of the way of the man's enraged attack, landing on a table that currently belonged to a group of adventurers who had been interestedly watching the fight. The bulky man struggeled to stop his charge, and ended running into a table, knocking the wind out of him.
Ryuu hopped down from the table and stood over the man, who was blinking hard. "You gonna pay the guy now?" The man grumbled, pulled a chinking pouch from his tunic, and clambored to his feet. He shoved the pouch into Ryuu's chest, and stomped out of the bar. Ryuu walked over to the winning poker player, who was still on the floor, rubbing his neck, and tossed the pouch into his lap. "Congrats," Ryuu said before returning to his stool at the bar.
He leaned back, and stretched his arms out, then returned to looking at the ring-stealing woman. "The name's Ryuu Masken. May I ask yours?"

Remede raised an eyebrow briefly at Ryuu's query. Her voice was as smooth as silk and as calm as could be. "Steal it? Why would I steal such a trivial piece of adornment? There are more significant pursuits in life other than being a thief." She wasn't quite sure what he was up to, asking her something like that. Do I look like a pick-pocket? she asked mentally, wondering what the man would say if she were to question him verbally. Taking another lady-like sip from the glass, she crossed her legs, and opened her mouth respond to whatever she was supposed to be "watching"... but it seemed like her company had already run off to do something else.
She watched from afar as he approached the two fighting men. Her eyes scanned them carefully, while her fingers daintily wobbled the glass back and forth. What was he doing now? Probably something on the reckless side, Remede decided. As her companion-- Well, not quite my companion. Just a brief acquaintance-- asked the loser to simply pay the winner of the poker game, the former was apparently enraged. Look at that. I haven't been here for over five minutes and there's already a fight. Aren't I lucky?
When the rather large man (aka the loser) received a square blow in the chin from Remede's acquaintance, she blinked in surprise. He could fight, at least. And running into something he knew he could get himself out of wasn't completely reckless. All the same, Remede smirked in utter amusement as the fight continued. Someone had a bit too much to drink, it looks like. The large man could barely stand straight even has he lunged to hit his opponent. When he clashed into a nearby table, Remede had to jump from her seat to get out of the way in time. His body weight had obviously taken a toll on the bar and caused the lamplights from above to swing vigorously from the impact.
After again asking the man to pay the winner, her acquaintance returned to her. Remede eyed him cautiously, the wine glass still in her hand. She raised an eyebrow, like she had done before, though this time, a smile laced across her lips. "Ryuu Masken, eh? That was quite a feat-- a rather tactless one, but I suppose it got the job done." She placed her drink on the counter, dusting off her tunic. "It's best I take my leave now before anything else of that sort happens." The girl purposely avoided giving away her name. It wasn't always safe after all... especially when some people wanted her head. "Later."

Ryuu quickly slapped some money down on the bar, and followed the woman. "Hey, hey, hey," he chortled, "don't be so rash, ma'am. Nothin' bad'll happen to you as long as you have Ryuu Masken by your side! If you're worried about little scuffles like that, I'll be your body guard! For a pretty girl like you, I'll mark down the price a bunch, eh?" He gave her a large, friendly grin. "Whaddya' say, huh?"

Remede looked at him in surprise, wondering why he had followed her out of the bar. It's not like she was anything worth stalking... unless he was in league with those men who were currently trying to hunt her down. She then focused on the street in front of her, dodging other people left and right. It was a busy morning-- merchants from all over the country came here to sell their goods, and people of all trades bustled in and out of buildings trying to trade their wares. A small child with a pitcher of creamy white milk and a loaf of bread nearly ran into Remede while trying to follow his mother. "Pardon me," she said quietly, moving around the child.
"You misunderstand me, Mr. Ryuu Masken." She tucked a few strands of stray hair behind her ears, as she continued to find her way through the crowd. "I don't need a bodyguard. Excuse me--" she sidestepped toward the right, avoiding a man with his arms full of candles. "I am perfectly fine right now." The girl shrugged off his compliments. "Besides that, I have little I can offer for your services. Not that I need them. Go back to that tavern and I'm sure you can find many other employers."

"Oh, come now, miss, you can't fool me!" He said cheerily. "It's obvious that your an adventurer by your equipment and dust covered clothes," he gestured to her weapon and the hem of her tunic. "Adventurers and travelers alike are used to bar room scuffles, so if one retreats from the bar after a scuffle, something is clearly wrong!" He gave his arm a small triumphant pump, "which is why you should hire me as a body guard! Besides, who wants to travel alone?" He laughed merrily, aptly dodging people on the streets trying to keep up with her. "...not to mention, I've been in this place for a week; I'm running low on cash," he added in an undertone, rubbing the top of his head.
