Kapu raised an eyebrow at the Lightning Blade, getting as much information out of it as he could. It was thicker than he normally saw it, and a mite faster too: it was a medium-level spell but considerably more powerful than usual.
Then again, an inferior spell could only be augmented so much. Kapu "tch'ed" with contempt after Kriven intercepted the bolt, tapping his right thumb, middle, and index fingers against each other, prepping his special little baby. If the fight went badly for Kriven, this small gift would more than take care of his pesky brother.
Serene went to pat out the small fires rimming the hole in the wall. "I daresay I could have handled him with less collateral damage," she quipped conversationally, brushing soot of her hands and shaking it out of her wings.

Ari smiled as the newcomers thanked her for letting them in the house. Of course, she was very happy that she could help someone in need... she knew that she wouldn't be particularly happy wandering in the forest for something to eat or somewhere to stay. With the light "click" of the lock, Ari shut the door behind her and made her way towards the kitchen where the others would be waiting. She hoped that Elaviel could take care of them but since the angel was new as well, she might not know where to get extra chairs or napkins if need be. Bare feet plodded softly against the wooden floors of the house as the half-elf skipped through the halls leading to the delicious smell of a home-cooked meal. She pushed the double doors aside and stepped inside. I see everyone else has been helping themselves. For the most part anyway. It seemed like the young boy was a bit shy and decided to wait for someone else to say that it was alright to begin the meal. Ari quickly brushed past everyone else to talk to Kysho. "Go ahead and help yourself!" she said cheerfully. "We're just getting settled here... no need to wait for us." She pointed at the plate in front of him and the various dishes on the table. "Dig in!" With a glance of her turquoise eyes, she spotted Lavi at the sink, cleaning the pots and pans she had used for making dinner.
Elaviel seemed to be busy... and surprised at the same time. It was probably because of the large influx of random people who came to sit down at the table. She took her time to wipe her hands on a towel. "Well, Ari, are these your friends? Would you mind introducing us before they ask you what a random stranger is doing here?" She tossed to towel aside and wiped her forehead.
"Actually, Lavi... these are guests. I invited them in a couple of seconds ago. I mean, they looked hungry and they had no where else to go so..." Ari smiled sheepishly.
The angel merely laughed. "I know you well enough! You'd never have the heart to turn down someone in need!" She crossed her arms. "Don't you worry; Lavi will help take care of your guests!" she exclaimed eagerly, referring to herself in third person. "I'll help you cook and garden so your hosts won't think anything of it. They already seem to have quite a few people on their hands--" Before Elaviel could finish her sentence, the room shook with a loud crash. "What the hell..?" She didn't wait another minute-- Lavi zoomed out the kitchen door and around the yard to see what was going on. With the soft mumuring of an ancient spell, a pair of white, feathery wings sprung from her back, giving her a lift into the air as she neared the corner. "My, my, what's going on here?" It was a rhetorical question. It was pretty darn obvious what had just happened. There was an intruder who had just been knocked through the wall by Kriven. What used to be part of the wall now lay in splinters across the grassy front lawn. "Tsk. Tsk."
Meanwhile, Ari ran around the other way, through the halls. She spotted Serene and Kapu peeking out of a hole in the wall. Her eyes went wide for a few seconds as she tapped Kapu's shoulder. "Erm... who did

Krovon smashed onto the grass, though soft, with an intense thump, and a cracking sound. He lay still momentarily, as Kriven climbed through the hole in the wall. Krovon managed to climb to his feet, a piece of wood was stabbing into his arm that he had apparently fallen on. Without bothering to pull it out, he lunges forward, drawing his sword from the ground inwhich it had landed.
crap! I left my mace inside! Kriven thinks to himself as he races towards Krovon, I'll need to improvise...
Krovon raises his sword high, ready to strike, but he doesn't expect Kriven to haul off and punch him with a fist full of rocks. Krovon flies backwards, from the impact, and bounces off the ground a bit. He again climbs to his feet as blood trickles from his mouth. He notices something skyward. A figure..
"You!" he shouts with an unmistakeable form of hatred.

((Wah... kinda short. ;_; Meh.))
Elaviel's eyes narrowed at the sight of the figure. Upon outstretched wings, she glided towards the ground, landing gracefully about five meters away from where the other stood. He recognized her apparently. And she recognized him. Though she had no idea what his name was, she knew that he was someone who needed to go to hell. "You!" the angel hissed back, her usually calm blue eyes now flickering with anger and resentment. It's him... He's the one who slaughtered everyone in that village; he's the one who killed Harka...
"You're the one who murdered Harka..." her thoughts repeated, now verbally. It was a quiet statement but it was still filled with a sense of conviction. How could he commit such a crime? Harka... she was barely a child, only seven years of age. If anything, he could've at least spared the children regardless of what grudge he held against the village itself. Her wings flapped silently behind her, betraying her sense of hurt and anger.

"Ah yes, forgive my manners. How is your little friend doing?" Krovon asks, smirking, he already knows the answer.
Kriven halts his attack against Krovon for a moment. Curious about how Lavi seems to know Krovon.
Krovon stares Lavi in the eye. He grips his sword tightly, though doesn't make any noticable movements. His eyes narrow a bit, a smirk, an evil twisted smirk flies across his face. Krovon's expression, and voice are both mocking, "So? How is she?"

A scowl formed on her face, her eyebrows narrowing even further. He was messing with her emotions and she knew it. It was just impossible for Elaviel to not get angry with his twisted words and mockery. "Bastard..." she muttered under her breath. "You f*cking bastard." Not only did he perform the deed two years ago but now he was acting like nothing had really happened when he was the one who caused it. He wanted to provoke her. Why? Elaviel didn't know for sure. She probably never would and she didn't care either. Her emotions raged inside of her head, calm sanity vying with the fiery resentment. A few seconds passed with the angel glaring at Krovon.
She couldn't control herself any longer. With a strong flap of her wings, she launched herself a few feet off of the ground and then forward, directly towards the enemy. Her body twisted itself above his head and she landed behind him. A faint glow of white light surrounded her body-- she was taking surrounding energy and focusing it in her first attack. It took only a matter of seconds for the spell to finish; Elaviel took a step back as a way to gain her footing, then dashed at Krovon in a spinning motion. She picked up her leg about half way through the spin determined to swing a powerfully-charged hook kick into his head...

Krovon smirked. Kicks are easy enough to handle. For a moment he considered grabbing his attackers foot and swinging her around, but this would be impossible without dropping his sword. He leapt backwards instead, hoping to avoid the kick. He hadn't realised it had taken so much time for him to decide which course of action to take. The kick made contact with his shoulder, a powerful pain like an explosion shot through his body. Krovon was blasted through the air.
He glided silently over the grass, which wavered from the suction Krovon created as he flew over it. He managed to somersault at the last second and land on his feet. As he made contact with the ground his hand began to glow a blueish-white light. The source of this eerie glow was a sphere forming within the palm of his hand. The sphere slowly changed into a torpedo-like shape.
"Ismile!" Krovon shouts, thrusting his hand out forward and watching the mana torpedo blast through the air on a collision course with Lavi.

Damnit! Her kick had missed its target only by a few inches. A fierce expression still on her face, Elaviel landed on her feet as her kicking leg set itself in its original position. I could've killed him! Her emotions boiled even more, now that the heat of battle was getting to her head. The cheerfulness she usually carried with her had lost the war against the wrath. She would make sure that this murderer went to hell no matter what happened. He didn't deserve to live and she didn't care if she had to be the one to do it. Barely, Elaviel saw the next attack. She was too angry to move gracefully with tripping over her own feet. Instead she summoned a blue light-- it was a shield of some sort and energy swirled inside of the portal-like object.
As Krovon's Ismile came forward, it was negated by the portal. It disappeared once the blast hit it, although Elaviel was sent flying a few feet back. She was a feather-weight and didn't weigh enough to stand her ground. However she still managed to land safely. Her expression had not worn off; anyone could easily see the rage in her face. Lavi grunted and charged at her opponent again, this time taking to the air and summoning beams of light from the sky. Most angels could cast various spells but she had stuck to the light-based attacks which she had been born to know. "Go to hell!" she shouted at him, directing the beams towards his body. "Sacred luster!"

"Tft. You wish." Krovon grunts.
He dodges to the left, narrowly avoiding the first of the assault. Dirt and grass hit him as it flies up from the ground where he had once stood. Surprisingly, Krovon moves quickly, narrowly avoiding, but avoiding non-the-less the light beams. He remembers Kriven's prescense as he draws close.
"I'll be with you in a moment." Krovon says to his brother.
In an instance Krovon is already close to Lavi, and bringing his sword down upon her...

"Don't worry, I know." She wasn't particularly surprised that he could dodge so effectively but she was irritated all the same. Hit him, goddamnit! she mentally snapped at her luster beams. Her attention was caught when he whispered something to Kriven and Lavi wondered if they were related to each other. They looked absolutely nothing alike, although two people didn't have to be blood relatives to have a history with each other. He seemed to be interested in the boy... but Elaviel would have to worry about that later. Right now, I need to avenge poor Harka... I failed her once before. It won't happen again. She mentally made that vow, only now realizing that Krovon was dangerously close.
His sword was drawn and he towered above her. He was particuarlly taller because of his raised arm, Elaviel noticed. She easily avoided his slash by ducking below and then somersaulting towards the side, much like what he had done before. Lavi had had enough. Her feathery wings beat against the air, pushing her towards the sky where her enemy could not catch her. When she was a good distance above him, she mumured a quick spell, the ancient words rolling off of her tongue like water. It was as if she had recited the incantation thousands of times. A light took form in her hands, molding into the graceful arc of a bow. The angel glided back down towards Krovon, stringing her weapon with an arrow she had summoned in much the same way as the bow.
There was a flash of pure white light as Elaviel aimed and let the arrow loose. It was aimed directly at his heart... however, the winds above were flying and vying with one another, and she was filled with too much resentment to take that into account. Hopefully, the arrow wouldn't miss it's mark by too much...

Krovon was helpless, still recovering from his forceful slash. The arrow made contact, but not directly piercing his soulless heart. The arrow hit just below the shoulder, pasing through. Blood flowed freely, streaming from the location the arrow had hit. More blood spurted into the air. Then it happened. Krovon stared at his arm in shock, and pain as the wound spread upwards exceedingly quickly. A howl of pain. A sickening thump and a squash. Crimson flowing like a water fall. An arm on the ground.
"YOU! YOU BIT*H!" Krovon shrieks, tearing his stare away from where his arm once was, his voice soaked in pain, "TERRIM CHALIM!"
Krovon rushes forwards, racing towards Lavi as his entire body begins to glow with an eery white light. Finally, what seems like nothing more then a flash of white explodes from within Krovon's body. The force tears the earth from itself, leaving a crater meters deep. Trees are insinerated, a best case scenerio that smoldering roots are left stemming up from the torched earth. The entire side of the house is charred black. Kriven is knocked backwards from the sheer wind the attack creates, knocking him away from the main blast.
Kriven slams into the coal wall and slides to the ground. He opens his eyes when the pressure pushing against his body finally fades. What he sees...
Krovon still stands, however now in the middle of a crater that is dug at least 40 feet into the earth. Sweat pours from his body, blood still spills quickly from the stump of a shoulder he has left.
My mana... that attack used all of it... and I'm badly injured... I'm sure that attack didn't kill Kriven... Krovon thinks, looking around and hoping his brother is dead, and Lavi for that matter, If they survived, there's no way I could defeat them...

In her hurry to fire off the arrow, she had made a grave mistake; she neglected to account for the wind when aiming. In doing so, she allowed Krovon to attack because her first shot had not killed him, even if she did manage to hack off an arm. At first, she merely smiled... she had caused him pain too. She made him angry. Perhaps he would die with the same resentment she was feeling. With a graceful twist of her wrist, another arrow appeared at her disposal and she aimed once more. However, Elaviel did not have the chance to release her second shot. Her enemy thought quickly and launched an extremely strong spell, strong enough to knock her off her feet.
Before she could react, the blow hit her fully and the force drove her far past the house. The only thing that stopped her was the large oak which stood firmly rooted in the ground. Lavi remembered admiring the great tree before meeting up with Ari... now, the attack from Krovon had uprooted a good half of it. Her impact into the side of the trunk didn't help either-- a loud slam was heard as she driven into the oak. In the midst of everything, she didn't have to time to analyze the situation and failed to brace herself at all. ...it was partially her fault for not keeping calm in such a dangerous situation.
The angel fell to the ground when the wind died down. It was then that she felt the sickening pain in her lower chest... Sh*t! I must've broken a few ribs... The pain was immense; she tried to regain her posture and stand up but she simply couldn't. Her wings had disppeared even though she had not summoned them away. This was a sign that her powers were weakening... Her face contorted in pain but she would not give up. With the last of her strength, she pushed herself from the ground. Elaviel had bruises everywhere and scratches from the initial impact with the tree... luckily she was still alive. She doubted that many could survive such a hit.

Kapu and Serene surveyed the battle coolly, watching them exchange rather unwieldy and explosive attacks. "Someone is going to be severely beaten for this," Serene quipped, gesturing at the doorframe. She ran a hand down each of her swords, making them disappear.
Kapu ignored her, flicking Whirr back and forth anxiously in his left hand. In his right, a small flurry of lights was beginning to coalesce, gently revolving. The sphere was a bomb that Kapu had developed a year and a half ago that drew sonic energy out of its surroundings and released it in a thin, powerful disc of destruction when detonated.
"Oh, oh. Kapu, the angel's gone," Serene said anxiously, her wings fluttering. Her voice sounded slightly far away, almost like a fishbowl-over-the-head kind of effect due to Kapu's sonic suction (that's such a cool alliteration x3). She pointed off in the general direction where Lavi had been thrown, somewhere in the trees.
"And we don't have a yard anymore. And the side of the house looks toasted." Kapu pulled his gaze away from his rapidly forming bomb and focused on the burnt wood of his home. Dangit, this was his frickin house! A whole slew of curse words, most of which he had taken from Silver, rose in his throat. He strode angrily across what was left of the lawn, Whirr spinning dangerously in one hand and the sonic mine shining brightly in the other.
"You think you can do this to my house and get away with it, you little bastard?" he snarled, jumping down next to Krovon and slamming Whirr next to his head. "You think I'll take this lying down?"
Kapu paused, collecting himself.
"Do you know what this is?" He said quietly, but with a steel edge and wolfish eyes blazing in the spinning light. He put his right hand forward, showing Krovon the sphere. "This is what I call Death's Harmony." Kapu held it dangerously close to his chest.
"I've torn down castles with this. Want to see what it'll do to you?" Kapu whispered, letting the edge of the ball brush Krovon. "I promise you, you'll lose more than just an arm."

Kriven watched Lavi fly through the air, blasted by the explosion. His blood began to boil, the rage building inside.
How many people have you hurt Krovon? HOW MANY HAVE YOU KILLED! As Kriven remembered all those that he had seen Krovon hurt, he could only imagine how many more he actually did, a strange tug pulled at the back of his mind, He has to die.
Suddenly a blistering blast of pain erupted withing hsi skull. Kriven clutched his had again, in pain. As he struggled to recover, to drag his arms away, he noticed something about his arm: the rocks had begun to mold together, and what were once fingers were now hooked claws.
A tearing on his back. Kriven could not only feel the pain, but he could hear his back ripping open. Spikes jutted out of his spine, and flaps rolled out, creating demonic wings. His face began to stretch, his human arm began to turn a shade of grayish brown, his human eye becoming black and red.
He let off a shrill screech from the agonizing pain. He could feel himself growing large, and the hate building inside him. He reached into his pocket and grabbed his flute, and the rocks he had found earlier. He tossed these into the house, hoping that they wouldn't be destroyed by this monster.
He felt his clothes getting tighter due to the immense growth in his muscles. His shirt ripped in half, and slid off. His pants also ripped, but for the most part, they remained where they were. His boots exploded, revealing talon-like feet. His vest remained intact, and still worn.
A large tail found itself growing from inside, connecting straight to the tailbone. The tail was long, dinosaur-like and pointed at the end.
A mane of hair-like spikes found itself growing from Kriven's neck and down his back, ending where the wings began. He shrieked one last time, before he felt his loss of control over his body.
The red eyes fell over Krovon. Death was the only thing that he could think of. Death and causing suffer. With unmatched speed Kriven was in the air, flapping his bat-like wings to keep him air-born. The fact that he was made of rock barely slowed him down, he was built for this purpose.
Before anyone could react, Krovon found himself smashed against one of the few remaining trees. He struggled to break free of the monsters grasp, but he was too weak. The blood from his open wound seeped through the monsters fingers. The force began to tighten, gripping harder, threatening to squash Krovon to death. At the last second a cloud of smoke surrounded Krovon, and when the thick gas finally disappeard, Krovon had gone as well.
His attention now turned towards the fact that other living creatures were around. Kriven turned one blood-red eye and looked at Kapu greedily.

Ari's eyes searched frantically for her friend. She had managed to hide in the house until Krovon's blast had cleared away and now she was on the loose, trying to find Lavi. The half-elf sorely hoped that she wasn't injured... too badly. She knew that there was little to no possibility of Elaviel coming out unscratched-- but she could still hope and pray. "Lavi!" she called out. "Lavi, where are you?" No answer. "Please be ok..." she muttered quietly to herself.
"Oh, I've told you before..." A voice started and Ari turned around. It was Lavi! Quite a lucky angel she was. "I can take care of myself..." Elaviel grunted in pain, her hand gripped tightly around her stomach. "...but maybe you could look at this for me?" Her face contorted in anguish as she tried to form a smile for her worried half-elven friend. "I think I'll need some proper healing..."
Ari smiled back and gave Elaviel her shoulder while the two made their way towards the house. It seemed like such a long walk and Ari was getting more and more worried. ...she heard noises from the yard-- screaming to be exact. Krovon was probably still there. But I know Serene, Kriven and Kapu can take care of them! They're strong... Yet, in the back of her mind, she knew that something was wrong, something much worse than simply an attacking Krovon. "Can you walk ok?"
"Yeah, I'll be fine as soon as these ribs have been healed back into place..." Elaviel winced. Her pretty face had been marred with scratches but she tried to look dignified nonetheless. She brushed her bangs aside when they fell into her face. The angel normally wore her hair up in a loose bun. Apparently in the impact, her hair had come completely loose and unruly. "I still look alright, don't I? I mean, my hair's not messy or anything..?"
"Well... I wouldn't say that it looks like royalty but it's not too shabby," Ari chuckled nervously. "After I'm done with healing, you can march upstairs for a bath." She became nervous as she spied a figure in the distance. It's not Kriven, is it? she asked herself, squinting at the sight. Please don't let it be Kriven, please don't let it be-- OMG! IT'S KRIVEN!
