((Try not to be too anime' style...if you flew 100 feet, you would've lost a couple ribs, and unltimately have lost the fight, maybe even had died. Remember, battle wounds are realistically incorporated, with a little leverage.))
But Nicodemus was busy in his tent, not hearing Omio.
((JUMPING FORWARD!))
Finally, Omio got Nicodemus' attention, who then healed Omio of any and all wounds within a couple seconds using Psyenergy. The next morning, everyone was well rested and ready to go, even Ariane who trained furiously. The camp was cleaned up, and they were ready to set out again.
Hesitantly, Nicodemus approached Ariane. "...Ariane...Lead the way." Nicodemus stepped back, allowing her space to set off for Gondowan, ready to follow.

((>_O Omio wasn't asking to be healed - in fact, I was going to use the wound as a window of opportunity for others to see what he's like when he's moderately injured.
...Whatever, looks like I failed to plan a possibility once again.))
After getting up for the morning and having the stuff cleaned up, he merely listened to Nicodemus' hesitation, not his words. Nicodemus... fearing Ariane? I don't know what happened after dusk, but it could be the death of me if I try to pry... But if I don't pry, I'll have to bear guilt if I'm blamed for something that could happen. Decisions, decisions!!! He took about 5 steps back, and seemed quite withdrawn.
((And no, I'm not acting as if Omio's injured. And yes, he's scared to wit's end about Nicodemus and Ariane.))

Ariane nodded at the Lemurian without any facial expression. She turned and pointed at the cliffs ahead. "We need to be careful going across here, as we have to climb to get to the trail that goes to Gondowan. There are also gaps in the trail that we'll have to jump, and it's a long way down. I'll lead the way. Are you ready?" Without waiting for an answer, she started up the cliff. She wasn't going to leave them behind, but the young woman will only wait when she has to.

Omio started about 7 feet to the left of Ariane for climbing. Climbing was the only thing he didn't like too much. Sure, he'd do it to travel, but that was merely all. Why do needless work? He was only hoping the cliff now wasn't as tall as it was in the future.
Then the past image came to him as he was climbing. It was the first time he was escaping war, and wanted to go across the sea in a different direction than what was planned now. The climb was a few hundred feet, and people taking a break in the middle of the climb wasn't irregular.
He looked up and saw that it wasn't too much of a difference, really... almost as if it had been laid untouched. This thing was a chore to climb... But climb did he.

Nicodemus began climbing the wall with a jump, grabbing onto a vine for more support. He climbed at a moderate speed up the side of the cliff. His right leg slipped as loose rock crumbled beneath his foot, but he continued on anyway, breathing moderately.

After they climbed the cliff face, Ariane motioned to the others to follow her. She went cautiously, as the trail was narrow and she did not wanted to accidentally step on loose rock and fall down the cliff.
After managing their way through, the group of travelers reached the strait between Indra and Gondowan. "Now the fun part," The mercenary stated. People have built a rope bridge recently to help people cross this dangerous area, but it wasn't well maintained as few people lived near enough in the area. It was sturdy enough that it wouldn't break, however, there were plenty of holes in the bridge, some of them rather large. It was nearly impassible if the winds picked up.
Ariane sighed, it looked worse than the last time she was here. She wondered why people made things if they didn't take care of what they created. The mercenary turned her head over to the others, "Everyone be carefull crossing her, alright?" With that, she ventured onto the bridge, holding each side as she navigated herself across.

Indeed. This bridge didn't look too trusty. He let Ariane travel about 7 metres before starting. If Nicodemus was smart, he'd wait for the same distance, too. Holding on to the sides, the bridge irked here and there, but remained normal. A board or two would creak occasionally, but all was good.

Nicodemus proceeded several feet afterwards. Too much weight ould cause the bridges support ropes to snap, sending them a hundred feet below to the rushing waters. Such a drop would be like hitting concrete, even for a Mercury Adept.

(( I think Omio won't be here for awhile so I guess we can just continue without him))
Just then the wind picked up and Ariane froze. The swaying bridge held, but the travellers' footing were on the verge of slipping. The mercenary clung tight to the two ropes on each side of her, eyes shut. Nicodemus couldn't see it, but she was mumbling to herself, to keep herself calm. She didn't have a phobia of heights, but they did make her nervious, especially when on a rickity bridge over spiky rocks and rough ocean water.

"We should hurry, Ariane. Everyone move quickly across the bridge, but don't stomp as you move, step lightly." said Nicodemus in a loud, stern voice.

Whisper looked around, not bothered by the bridge, "I'm bored and hungry," he finally said quietly.

Ariane didn't hear either of her fellow companions. She just clung on to the bridge, recalling what had happened the last time she pasted through here. Just after she went across the bridge the other way, a squirrel followed. It was a cute little thing, with small shining eyes, and a big fluffy tail. When it ventured onto the bridge, the wind picked up like it was now, and sent the little creature flying into a tall rock spire and then fell, dead and broken into the crashing ocean below. The rope chaffed Ariane's palms as she gripped the bridge harder, the memory as vivid as if it was yesterday, even though it was over three months ago.
((Ariane doesn't have a phobia of heights or bridges. It's just THIS particular bridge that she's afraid of
edit: Something I've just realized... what color are Nico's eyes? XD))

When the wind picked up a bit, Omio's left foot met with the edge. The foot didn't quite go over thanks to a rope (and boy, did Omio thank the gods for that. otherwise, he'd be in a new world of pain), but his right foot slid about ½ an inch. "Whoa... Thanks for the word of caution, Nico." Definately wouldn't want THIS place to become my grave. was the train of thought Omio ported. He then proceeded - now having his knuckles turn white from the tight grip. His body temperature was dropping slightly, but nothing was affected - yet. Omio's fear? Not too high. Nervous? Very much so - This bridge was cemented in his age. He began to think of other things to keep himself away from the fear of falling. In order to achieve, you must work.
