((nope I'm not staff, even if I was, I wouldn't lock this thread just yet. Once Yggi-kun was thinking of quiting the internet and asked me to continue with this RP. If it comes to that, I'll take over... although I personally don't want to do that yet.))

((What Yggdrasill have you been speaking to, Helena?! Certainly not me! My sincerist apologies, my friends. It's been far too long. Shall we continue with our adventure? I'm sorry it's been so long...but...I've never recieved an e-mail. However, LET US CONTINUE! Our adventure is far from over! We have much traveling to be done, and I mean to complete our journey! Come, we continue! And yes, uh...whoever it was, they can join and be a Mars Adept. Though, meet us here in Madra.)) Nicodemus quickly spun his wooden sword around and stopped Ariane's strike with his wooden sword. He spun away from Ariane before she could recover and used a widespread douse psynergy around himself, soaking the ground around him. "Come, Ariane! You can do better than that, yes?" asked Nicodemus with a smile, mocking her. He wasn't trying to hurt her feeling or anything of that sort, he was merely trying to edge her on to get closer. He prepared a Frost psynergy attack.

((YOU'RE BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *UBERMEGAULTIMATEGLOMP* Funny... perhaps I got the wrong email or something... and I'll need to brush up on what's happened so I shall edit this post later ^_^))
Ariane flipped back as her attack was blocked. Her eyes widened as she saw the gigantic Douse droplets blocking any attempt of another attack. She knew instantly it was the attack that knocked Omio out cold. But why did he just cast it around himself, and not at me? Ariane thought. The image of the frozen juice appeared in her mind and she figured out a snipit of the Mercury adept's power.
Liquids, he had control over anything liquid. He can create it and alter it's form by freezing it. The mercenary knew of snow and ice, but never experienced it since she lived in too far south. She heard stories about the frozen water and the dangers they can cause, and this man can create it out of thin air...
The mercenary kept moving, she knew she didn't have much of a chance, but she wasn't the type to give in. Staying on her toes she ventured to the edge of the damp circle, but made no move pass into it. "You are a very dangerous man, Nicodemus," Ariane stated, her voice deep with seriousness. She quickly drew something behind her back, unseen by the Lemurian, "I'm glad that this is only a spar, and not a true fight!" On the word "fight" she threw what she had in her hand at Nicodemus's neck and lept to the left of the circle. Hopeing that in the split moment that Nicodemus's attention was on the knife she threw, she ran into the circle to attack on Nicodemus's right side. The knife was wooden, so it wouldn't do much damage if it hit, which Ariane knew it wouldn't, but that wasn't its purpose anyway.

((Changed my look. Yes, I am Lord Yggdrasill, but I'm Selaphiel now.))
The wooden knife flew from Ariane's hand at a great speed, but it suddenly stopped and tumbled through the air, rolling, landing in front of Nicodemus's feet. He had blocked her attack with his wooden sword once again, holding her strike still, his left hand extended towards the water around them. A bit of frost was on the tip of the knife where it had bounced of the tall wall of ice which erupted from the water almost instantaneously, deflecting the knife as it bounced over the wall. The rest of the ice froze around them, forming a small circle around Nicodemus and Ariane, a cold chill filling the air. "Clever, Ariane. You're also fast for a non-Adept." said Nicodemus, smirking as he said it. What threw his skills to such extraordinary limits? Not even the great adepts of old had such speed both physically and psynergetically. Perhaps he'd reveal it later on to his comrades. He very quickly grew the little bit of frost on the edge of the knife to a tall, spiraling rod of ice that went upwards. He grabbed it and swung it around, the "blade" of the wooden knife mere centimeters from Ariane's neck. He stopped before impact. "Gotcha." said Nicodemus. He dropped the rod of ice, which slowly disappeared into the ground. "But, I must admit, that was...unfair, using my psynergy, but you did insist. But we're both two seperate types of warriors. Such is to be expected that I defeat you. But had I no psynergy, I think you would've done some damage. When we have more time, Ariane, we can practise without my psynergy." said Nicodemus. He felt a little...guilty. He couldn't pinpoint the reason, but he felt guilty. The wall of ice around them stayed up, then slowly begenning to fall.
