((Don't worry, I'll get you involved, we're in the room with Kriv and Ari))
Ryan didn't care, now this freak had just changed his arm into some -thing. Didn't like his attitude either so smug and yet with this hint of power in his words. Maybe this other guy was better than him. Anything would be better than him.
To his left was still the man on the floor, he's no idea where everyone else in the room had gone, but he was still laying there. Human. Stop Ryan, this isn't a good idea. His brain was telling him something ... but all he could hear was a faint call, far away a female voice called to him. Ryan. RYAN! His mind snapped him back to reality. He could ignore someone and kill them himself if he's angry with them. But he couldn't never leave someone to die through no fault of their own. "Damn my nice-ness." He muttered to himself.
Quick as a flash Ryan held him in his arms. Just carry him to safety Ryan. Then I can bugger off and find that kid, maybe kill that freaky guy too; he's pissed me off enough, the jackass. I can add it to my to-do list.
Another set of stairs. And, once again, Ryan is running up them. The uncontentious guy stirred in Ryan's arms.

Crash, bang, anguished yells, people flying through windows and demonic relations. Jeez. It's like being back home, Kapu thought with a little grimace. And now someone's jumped through the window. He gave her a little wave, and gestured towards the steps. "Serene, I'm going back down. Be back in a few; if you don't hear anything get out of here." Shouldered Whirr, he took the steps two at a time, fuming as he rounded the first set and started the second. "That kid can't go anywhere without breaking every bloody thing in sight, can he?"
"Bye, Kapu," said Serene, waving him away. She let the scimitar she had drawn when Ailyse entered drop lax in her hand. "Nice to meet you," she said, dipping a wing towards Ailyse in acknowledgment, and then turning lazily in place to waggle her sword in Jukka's direction. "And you as well."

Ceileuse looked to Jukka with an inquiring stare. He raised an eyebrow; lots of people were in this tower. From the way Serene introduced herself to him, they must not have known each other. The manakete hadn't seen him either when he was investigating the other floors before. Actually, he hadn't seen any person higher up until now. "Um, hey. I don't believe I know you... I'm Ceileuse, that's Ailyse."
Ailyse gave Serene a quick wave back before glancing at Jukka, eyes falling immediately to the spear in his grasp. Her right hand hovered cautiously over the hilt of her sword. "Nice to meet you guys, too..." The lavander haired girl turned to see Kapu descend the stairs, watching as he eventually disappeared from sight. "Should I go with him? It seems pretty hectic down there; he might need help."

The tower was hectic. Well, it had been hectic before when Jukka was running solo through the various floors and numerous traps had brought death inches from him, but it was a different type of hectic now. It was a confusing one. Loud sounds came from down below, the tower shook occasionally, and many people were running here and there, weapons raised and shouting. Apparently, it was hectic confusion for everyone.
Jukka gave a quick nod to the one who had dismissed someone named Kapu. He was soon introduced to Ceileuse and Ailyse. Jukka relaxed his grip on his spear - it seems everyone here didn't really know what was going on and weren't really enemies to each other. Jukka's manners kicked in. "Ah, nice to meet you all. I'm Jukka, fro-" Another loud sound from the stairs. Ailyse mentioned running down after the one named Kapu. Jukka's sense of excitement kicked in. He tightened his grip on his spear again, and walking towards the stairway said "Mind if I join? Seems to be where the action is."

"...Well, that was odd," Serene said with a blink, watching the three scurry off. "Now it's just me and you, Cei." She stooped over and swept the dusty floor with a hand, then sat down. "So let's have a conversation. You go first."
Kapu slid around the staircase, trotted down the hallway, around the second staircase, and whipped out around the curve into the now-ruined room. He looked around quickly at Ari and company, then the two brothers. "Jeez," he said, setting Whirr to one side and shaking his sleeves out. "You two don't miss a chance to make a mess, do you? So I'll start by cleaning it up."
Kapu kneeled on the ground and made a swiping motion, shooting a revolving square of glyph-studded light across the floor. Standing up, he flicked a wrist and summoned seven diamond-shaped blades of steel into existence, spiraling towards the two.

Ceileuse watched Serene sit down and felt awkward standing. He calmly shuffled over, taking a seat across from her, propping his knees up to rest his elbows on them. "I'm bad at starting conversations. I'm the type that listens in on people and cuts in when I feel it's right. I'm weird like that, I guess." He let his right hand drop to the floor and began to trace shapes on the ground, and before he knew it he had scribbled the faint shape of a cloud.
Ailyse followed after Kapu, not really sure where she was headed. Might as well trail after him and act like she did, though. As she hopped down the stairs, she slid her sword slowly from its sheath. After entering the rubble encrusted room, she saw lots of people inside already and a whole lot of destruction. Kapu swinging Whirr startled Ailyse, and she watched as a fight seemed to begin. "Aggressive, aren't we?" She mused quietly, glancing quickly over her shoulder to see if Jukka was coming.

"Well, that's alright then." Serene pulled her knees to her chest and watched quietly as Ceil doodled in the dust. "It doesn't mean anything," she added, leaning forward to draw another cloud floating next to Ceil's.
The very least that could be said about it was that it resembled something. To someone looking at it kinda sideways, it could be said that it looked vaguely like a hippo. A dying hippo. A hippo in the most excruciating agony imaginable.
A cloud it was not. Serene grimaced. "Kapu's better at this sort of thing."

((Senith again, Aleu? xD; ) Ceileuse smiled halfheartedly at Serene's cloud. "It's not... bad," he stated encouragingly, letting his hand intuitively move to an empty area above the middle of the two clouds. His finger began to inscribe faint letter M's in the dirt in the formation of a V, birds flying south for the winter. Below the clouds, he started to etch the caps of some mountains. He wiped his finger off on his pitch black pants, frowning at the dusty residue left in a line on its fabric. "I used to draw all the time with my little sister, Alcyone, back home. My dad was always busy doing other stuff, helping out in the village..." He leaned back, inspecting his scribbles. "I was never really good at drawing, either."

((sorry, im late >.<))
Jukka had followed Kapu down the staircase to see the room in ruin. A large crack ran down the middle of the floor, and two of the warriors were glaring at each other. Kapu seemed to at least know who they were - he talked, and then to Jukka's surprise, 7 blades rose from..well, no where, and hurled themselves towards the two. Jukka was confused. He didn't know them, and thought it was best if he didn't take sides when he didn't know what was going on. He wanted to stay around the action though. He simply backed up the staircase a few steps and observed.
Who were these people? They seemed to be at least acquaintances, or at least some of them did. Friends? Enemies? There seemed to be both, as down here the room was being split in half, while up the room one floor up two others were making small talk. It confused Jukka - why were they here anyway?? Jukka had simply been on another adventure on his own, he wasn't expecting to find others here.

((*Growls* I think it's just habit.))
"I noticed that hesitation there," said Serene, leaning in to watch again. The birds were cute, but the moutaintops gave her a little pang of longing. His mention of a sister made her wince again. It'd be a long time since she'd last seen home...
"Reminds me of where I used to live," she said, trying to keep the sadness out of her voice. "It was in mountains on the side of this beautiful valley that went around a great big river. Aleu and I used to go out and watch the stars and water at night. Sometimes Kapu came along if he was still awake." Serene bit her lip and sighed. "I haven't been back home in seven years now. I was only a little older than twelve when I... left."
Eyes hazy with half-formed tears, she quickly changed the subject. "How about you? I want to hear about Alcyone."

(Yo, sorry dude, I've been having writing cramps all-week, it's why I haven't updated Corridors either...)
Kriven saw the blades hurtling towards him.
...He's either crazy or hoping he kills me... Because if those hit me and I don't die...
"KAPU ARE YOU CRAZY?!? I HAVE IT UNDER CONTROL RIGHT NOW BUT IF THOSE HIT ME IT MIGHT GIVE THE DEMON ENOUGH OF A BREAK TO SURGE THROUGH!" His distraction alone might do it, unless I've surpressed it more then I thought...
Krovon on the other hand would be quite capable of dodging these swords. Unlike Kriven, Krovon was very lean and agile, even smirking and muttering, "What's wrong with your old friend?" before rolling away.

((There ya are )) "I remember what happened the last time you said you had things under control." Kapu traced a finger down one of the walls, sending a streak of green light through the stone. "I was hunting through the debris for weeks." He lobbed a small, glowing sphere into the air, where it floated lazily towards the two. "Did you know that place was a coming of age gift from my family?" Dots of light began to form on the floor. "Something to say, welcome to the world?" Kapu picked up Whirr and spread it open as he walked back to the center of the room, his footsteps splashing in the water that had started to coat the floor. "But it's not a matter of the house anymore," he said, pulling a latch on Whirr. The tines separated from each other, and he let them go, where they hung briefly in the air before sliding into the floor with a little ripple. "It's a matter of pride." Everything exploded at once. The green line erupted into a arcing blade of wind that hurtled horizontally down the hall, and the glowing sphere burst into a thousand petal-like shards of light. The dots on the floor threw up jagged spears of earth that rotated once before crashing to the ground, while the water formed into towering spouts that blasted from all directions. "Feel free to join in," Kapu said nonchalantly over his shoulder. "I know it looks rather messy but I'll be sure to steer clear of you two." -- Serene winced at the crashes below. "That kid can't do anything quietly... Well, there's one thing, but that's really loud afterwards."

It all happened at once, the lights, blades, water, spikes, all of it an explosion of chaos, Deaths hand grasping at this one sole place of the Earth. His arm felt heavy, the manaflames flared, a controlled flame. He was putting an amount of strength into his arm, it was a gamble, if all went wrong...
...I have to move... but... I'll have to kill him to get out of here alive myself... Do I want to?
He didn't notice his human eye slowly turning a shade of black. His stone arm's blue fire still flickering sporatically. The fingers conjoined and elongated, leaving him with a talon-like claw. He wasn't going to die here, not right this second anyway. If it came to worse he'd allow himself death by his former friend, but until that time he would remain alive...
Krovon dodged away, smirking as he fled down the near-by stairs.
So he's actually going to try and fight his friend. From the looks he already knows Krystallin has fallen back into a suspended death.

"I did not say you could leave," Kapu said, raising a hand. The air blade broke off from its course and tore down the staircase, shattering stone and throwing shrapnel. The shards of earth plummeted through the floor to intercept Krovon how ever many levels below. The petals and water simply faded out of sight.
"After all, you're the bastard who I've got a bone to pick with." Down below, eighteen globes of rainbow light floated through the ceiling; the pieces of his fan that he had just let fall through the stone. "I wasn't going to let you get away that easy. Go get 'em, Whirr." The lights sprang to life, rocketing through the air and chasing the man down.
"Annndddd..." Kapu looked at Kriven. "Crap."

"Hm, so you'd like to play?" Krovon asked aloud, spinning on his heel and slashing one of the fan-pieces. He readied himself for the rest as the first of the assault clattered to the stone floor.
"I'm sorry Kapu, I cannot permit myself to die at this point in time." Kriven said, his arm began to vibrate uncontrollably. The blue flames engulfed his arm, and short electrical pulses zipped in and out of the crevices of the rocks, "Please leave before I'm forced to strike you down."
