After what seemed like about 4 or 5 hours, Miryu finally managed to lead the group south. There was a forest within 35 kilometres, but that was only part of Miryu's plan. "Who else is tired of this heat?" She was. There was no hiding it in any way whatsoever. She was sick of the heat. Omio loved the heat, but Miryu was more for the cold. But, Omio wasn't with them. In fact, Omio was in that forest trapped. But, that's going somewhere else. Miryu then remembered - she forgot the stakes of those animals back at the riverred forest. "By the way, did anyone pack lunch?" "Lunch? I didn't pack any, but I'd love lunch," Raeyh declared, patting her stomach. "I'm hungry... We should eat something nice and cold. It's hot here." The girl sulked in the heat. She wasn't used to hot temperatures, because she came from a place of mild climate. "...And does anyone have any water?" Kysho trailed behind Raeyh, twirling his small khaki colored bag in the air. The gold coins clinked inside of it as they hit each other. "You drank most of our water before. You should have been more conservative with your share." Raeyh sulked down lower. "But I'm thirsty..." "Deal with it then."

Miryu volunteered to hunt yet again - but this time, alone. "I'll find water and food..." She went off into the distance, and seemingly vanished.

"Hold up guys!" Moses yelled, running up the path. Next to him was his pet, Giet, carrying a deer. As he reached the group, he dropped his head, panting. After he regained some of his breath, he said "Where'd.... you guy's.... Go?" Giet lay down next to him, also panting. "I was huntin' in the woods.... and i get back.... and yall left...." Moses then sat down. "So i hall'ed out here looking for you. Geez, how'd you guys forget about me?" Then, grabbing the deer of Giets back, he said, "Any yall hungry?" He smiled, back to his ingorant, happy self. "So, i guess were all doing somethin' now? Not just sitting around."
"So, where' we goin'?" He asked, stretching out on the ground. /me Man, i'm definatly tired now, after that run.

((Okay - I think I'll poof from this RP - again.)) ((You don't have to leave... O.o)) ------------------------------------------ Meanwhile, a certain half-elf wiped her forehead in frustration. "Gee, it's getting hot here... I wonder what happened. It seemed like the weather just got warm all of the sudden." She wasn't talking to anyone in particular, just a few mummurings to herself. A finger tapped at her pursed lips, as she stopped. At this point, Arynielle had begun to use her rod as a cane. The heat was simply overwhelming for her-- living most of her life in a city in the clouds, it's no wonder why she disliked the warmth so much. It had never been particularly hot up there; in fact, it was usually the exact opposite. Exire had a gloomy shadow cast over its city, causing a cool temperature to dominate the climate. A warm breeze pushed past her, teasingly playing with her wavy hair and tugging gently at her clothes. The wind felt nice in the previously still air, but it didn't change the fact that it was still hot. Small beads of sweat formed on her forehead, only to have them brushed away by the traveler. "Ugh... this is horrible." Ari leaned forward, pressing more of her weight on the staff, taking a deep breath. "...but I guess I shouldn't stop. I have to go on." With that last thought, she continued on, taking small steps through the field of yellow grass.

Damn. Oh well. I might as well finish looking for that so called "Legendary Sword". Who knows maybe I'll run into someone."After repacking everything Eric continued on south.

"Urgh...too hot to sleep"
Xanther opened his eyes and got to his feet. Brushing the hair out of his eyes, he headed off quickly after the group.
"So, where are we going?"

"Boo," Ryan had left the group a few days before, not because he wanted to, just because he'd fallen asleep and they'd left without him. Ryan didn't really have much to do with them anyway. Ryan laughed as he jump high in the air. "Calm down, I didn't mean to make you jump that much, Heh." He turned and faced infront of him. "And what would a fine genman such as yourself be wandering around here for?"

Kalphin walked along with the group, panting from the heat. "So... hot... I... hate... heat..." He took a drink from his canteen, and estimated how much was left. "Not much, it'll be empty in not too long..." He continued on, wishing the heat would go away.

With that last thought, she continued on, taking small steps through the field of yellow grass. Beside her (but not too close, for fear of adding heat) trudged another figure. Like his companion, Cyrus was of elven heritage; his dramatically-lessened earpoints indicated he was only a quarter elven. Despite lacking a staff to lean on, Cy trudged gamely on, trying not to glare enviously at his brother. The brother in question, Terix, was enjoying the many benefits of advanced psionic powers. Floating was one of them; in fact, it's the one that would probably have made Cy envious, had he not restrained himself from looking. The island map hovered lazily before him, open flat and under the psion's intense scrutiny. Cyrus, meanwhile, simply tried his hardest to keep walking. "I hope we find this spider soon..." ...and suddenly a question came to mind. He tugged on Ari's shirtsleeve gently to get her attention. "Do you suppose this giant spider is the cave-dwelling kind or the forest kind? I don't like cave spiders, personally... confined spaces and webs don't mix..." he shuddered softly at the idea.

Ari stopped in her tracks at the word "spider." Turquoise eyes glanced at her companion. "What..? Since when were we going after a spider?!" she asked, her eyes widening in both surprise and fear. The half-elf was deathly afraid of spiders. Something about them seriously creeped her out. Animals shouldn't be allowed to have eight legs... Her first encounter with a abnormally large spider happened to be when she had just met Aleu and Kapu. Luckily, Cyrus saved them from the arachnid shortly after the attack.
Even after the group fought a couple of monster spiders, Arynielle had yet to get over her fear. She didn't know why they scared her so much, but it didn't really matter... whenever she saw an eight-legged creature, she froze. Shaking her head to brush aside the bad memories, she continued, "Where did you find this out, Cy? I had no idea..." For a second there, she forgot all about the heat.

"The map," he replied, confused. "Don't you remember? It was right next to the closest shard... big picture of a spider. Darast said that the spider would be easiest to kill of all the things on the island."
Reaching over, he snatches the map from Terix'... well... not exactly his hands, as he wasn't really holding it per se. Whatever it was, he took the map and showed it to Ari, indicating the small but graphic spider icon near the closest shard symbol. "See? Here be spiders," he intoned gravely.
