Tales RPG has a slightly different style of Role-Playing that most other forums. We tend to use slightly different methods for posting things. By reading this post, you will get you acquainted to the style we use here. Here are the basic things on what you will see in a post.
(( [Phrases Here] )) Put this around comments that aren't part of the RPG. For instance: (( I'm lost (in the RPG storyline). What exactly is going on here? ))
"[Talking Here]" I think this one is pretty obvious. The double quotation marks are used to signal that a person is talking. For instance: "We should go that way."
/me [Action Here]. OR [Action Here]OR*[Action Here]* What this shows that the user is showing an action of what he/she is doing. You can use any one you want, though I highly recommend the first one. For the first one, simply put "/me" at the beginning of the line without the double quotes, then a space, then type what your character is going to do. You must put a period at the end of the action, or it will not work! For the second one, simply put an [i] at the front of the action and an [/i] at the end of it.
~~ [Thoughts Here] ~~ If a character is thinking, you use ~s to show what your character is thinking. For instance: ~~ I hope Aleu doesn't attack the dragon. ~~
When more methods for Role-playing are used here, I will add them to this list.
