Alright guys, question for ya. Now, when youre about to get the last Devil's Arm from the old guy, Raine mentions not holding on to a crown given to her by him. Who in the world was him?

I don't think that was ever mentioned in the game anywhere. It's probably one of those remain a mystery things or something. Unless someone else has an answer.

colette - the tree was named Yggdrassil according to most people. ToS makes sense as being the prequel to another Tales Of game where the tree of ever flowing mana is Yggdrassil.

That's assuming you're putting Tales of Phantasia as the sequel to Tales of Symphonia. There's one problem. The people of ToP, even before Cless is sent back in time, are considerably lower-tech than even Sylvarant. Also, the very structure of magic is different. I think of ToP as an Alternate Universe thing to Tales of Symphonia, especially after the end scene.

hmm... Him refers to... probably their father, since Raine hates her mother. so she must hate her father!

I formulated a theory, I think ToP takes place before ToS and the people called it Yggdrassil after Mithos Yggdrassil, the hero. ((Will edit the rest in after school))

...and the edit never came,...OKAY!!! I agree though, with the tree being called Mithos or Yggdrassil
