In order to keep the Tales RPG review standards high, I've included a set of rules to follow when reviewing so all the reviews here are of high quality. You can look at my reviews to use as an example, but you can write them however you wish, as long as these rules are followed.
1. All reviews must be at least 4000 LETTERS long. 2a. Scores must be out of 10. 2b. Scores can only be as specific as .5 of a whole number (as in 8.5, 9.5, etc. No 9.3, 6.8, etc.) 2c. Scores can be no higher than 10 or lower than 0.5. 2d. Post the score out of 10 at the end of the review. 3. Try not to reveal the whole game in your review. The point of a review is to tell the user if the game is worth buying or not. 4a. Write the review out as if it's an essay. You don't have to have a thesis though. 4b. DO NOT write one big block of text. This is a big no-no and will drive readers away. 5. EVERYONE, including staff, must post their review here first so it can get an OK by me.
More rules will be added or current rules will be edited as we get more reviews. Tips to write a good review will be added when I have time.
Edit 1 [2-22-07]: Fixed a minor misunderstanding in rule 1.
