Her silent footsteps lead Remede into a dazzling room, which seemed very much alive. The hall itself appeared to be a tree. Odd... but very amazing. She focused her attention on the elder, bowing respectfully.

Lucifer looks at the elder, who seems to be more mystifying then the room itself. "I take it you can help each and everyone of us with our reasons for coming here."

Omio takes a seat and nods silently. "You know my reason." Omio was here for more than one occasion. but of what he could not reveal.

"Wow, it looks like you saved a lot of money on furnishing this place" Kraleon then sits down next to Omio.

Cailean strolled in casually running a hand through his pink hair as he looked around. His ears were perked up towards the elder ready to catch anymore words that would escape the old man's lips while his tail swished impatiently.

Reya gave a polite bow, making sure her instrument was tucked safely within the folds of her cloak. "It is an honor, Elder," she said, trying to remember what few manners she had been taught.

"The honor is mine, young one." The elder manages a shaky bow to Aleu before continuing. "And I would hope I can help you with your reason for coming here..." the elder replies to Lucifer with an enigmatic smile. "After all, it was I who summoned you! ...but let us get down to business. Please, be seated."
After all are seated around the table, Sartoris bows his head and the green aura dims, plunging the hall into blackness. The only light comes from a small green bonsai willow growing out of the center of the table. Sartoris brushes the willow with a fingertip; it immediately begins to grow, its green aura brightening and changing colors. Slowly an image of the city splays itself across the many leaves.
"Celidon is a forest council, as you well know by now," Sartoris begins, sitting back in his chair and closing his eyes. "We druids prefer the unbiased ways of nature, and have tried for centuries to stay out of any conflict. Unfortunately, our hand is being forced... which is why we need your help." The elder sighs, then breathes on the bonsai; the image changes once more.
Four towers shimmer into view: Red, green, blue, white... suddenly the image shifts outward, to a crystalline wall... the view settles on a birds-eye view of a giant castle-like city, its silver keep pierced at intervals by the four colored towers. "Kinsarmar, the City of Mages," the druid elder explains.
Another bonsai, identical in size, sprouts its way through the tablewood. The shimmer displayed on its leaves starts as an orange-brown, then focusses in on a sand dune. The view floats over the dune and flies past another half-dozen dunes before stopping at a birds-eye view of an oasis. As it floats downwards, one can now make out the sand-colored stone of a massive city, built into the dunes near the water. A single, amethyst tower rests in the center of the city, surrounded on all sides by squat, small houses and shops. "Stavenn, the Desert Oasis."
"These two cities have been at war now for a hundred years." Scene change; both trees now show scenes of carnage, wasted battlefields and scorched earth. Blackened fields littered with the bodies of the fallen. "As the Forest has demanded, we have kept out of the conflict... but now, the conflict comes to us."
The trees now show two armies, both marching towards a giant forest. "Both Kinsarmar and Stavenn have sent envoys to us, requesting our aid," Sartoris explains. "They have warned us that the battle is coming our way, and if we do not choose sides now..." —the scene flashes to another devastated battlefield— "...we may not get the chance to."
"This is where you come in. We have kept our neutrality so far, but this has come at two costs. One, we know nothing about this conflict." Sartoris chuckles softly; "I don't even know why they're fighting their bloody war. That's why we need you. We need an impartial committee to visit both cities, and hear each sides' stance on the conflict, then come back here and report it to us. You will then aid us in deciding which side we should join."
"The other cost... is the other reason we are sending you and not our own envoy. We have no army at the moment; in fact, we will be recalling our forces as you negotiate with Kinsarmar and Stavenn. Which is also why we could not send our own envoy; we would have no way to defend them against bandits or street thieves... or Stavennite/Kinsarmarian treachery." He folds his hands and clears his throat; the bonsai trees shrink back into the table. The lights rise.
"Upon the completion of your mission and your safe return here, each of you will be paid the annuity agreed upon at the time of your hire. If you have any complaints or requests, voice them now; also, if you have questions, now is the time to ask." The elder leans back in his chair once more. "Anyone?"

((xD I'm Reya this time. )) Reya raised a hand. "Two questions, if you do not mind, Elder. What supplies will we be given for our travels; are we to buy or be supplied food, water, and other traveling amenities? Secondly, will we be splitting our numbers between Stavenn and Kinsarmar, or traveling as a whole?"

Lucifer looked at Reya. "I am guessing we go as two groups, since this war is coming soon. I highly doubt either army will be happy to know that we went to the other first and got their side of the reasonig first." Lucifer takes a few steps to a window and then turns his head to the elder. "I have, but one question, and I hope you can answer this for me." Lucifer reveals his arm, that was shown to Remede before. "I am here searching for a cure, I have been to other cities and have gotten nothing, but a simple sigh, I am hoping you as the elder of this city can tell me what is this?" Showing his arm to everyone at the table. "My sister has the same fate as I do, but her condition is worse, up till now, it was only her arms, but it spreads, everyday she is suffering."

"It is mostly as your comrade has said," the elder answers Reya first, as she was the first to speak. "Food and water will be supplied to you in the form of a convoy, and whatever you require can be found in the city for free... with a few logical exceptions, of course."
"As for you..." the elder turns to Lucifer and scrutinizes his arm. "...this is an old affliction, deeply set. It will be difficult to remove. ...in fact, it may... no, it is certainly beyond my power. But where you are going, there are those who can cure it. In Kinsarmar, if you go there, make your way to the Tower of Quintessence at the top of the Grand Hall of the Elements; the Circle of Rèalshifters will undoubtedly be able to heal something like this. Or, should you journey to Stavenn, make your way to the Temple of Thrawl. The power of the divinities, in the hands of a cleric, will certainly be more than a match for this ailment."
"Anyone else?"

"I am ready to depart whenever you are ready for us to so," Remede replies, rather calmly about the situation at hand. "But..." She straightens her long locks of dark hair. "Will you be deciding which of us will visit Kinsarmar? And Stavenn?"

The pink neko sat quietly grimacing slightly at Lucifer's wounds.

"Thank you elder." Lucifer covers his arm once again and looks at the neko who seem to be interested with his arm.

"No. Why should I decide who goes where? You may each go to the city you prefer."

Cailean looked away and propped his head up on his arm as if he hadn't been looking at all.
