Well, I was at a friends house, and I traded ( just borrowing trading) FF7 and KH2 for FF12 (awesome battle system XD) and RE4 (gamecube).
I think its pretty good. Pretty hard, but pretty good. I like, yet don't like the fact that they enemies are really fast. I like it, because its funner and challenging, and I don't like it, cause its challenging XD
Its pretty cool, and I think I might be able to get into it. In the Other RE's, I Knew something was gonna blow through a wall or pop-up or something, so I would be all freaked out knowing it was gonna happen, and it happened all the time. I had the same mindset starting this, all tense and stuff, but nothing really suspensful has happened yet. So I think I might actually get into it, maybe (cause It could always change, I'm not very far.)
I do think the fact that Amo comes up all the time from the bodies is way cool (even though I still died by running out of ammo at the very beggining, but thats because none of them were dropping any, and I was scared to go into the houses XD).
I think I would like the wii version way more (cause I suck at aiming with that lazer pointer, even one of those target things would be better (but the lazer does add a kinda feel to it, ya know? more realistic)), but its pretty good, in my mind.

There are crows on signposts and the floor. They drop ammo, grenades, money, and treasure. Mo, don't be afraid to explore. Health comes pretty often, and if something's going to one-hit kill you, you'll know.

No, I mean I died at the VERY beggining XD After you kill the very first guy and a few more come, I jumped out the window and killed all but one, but ran out of ammo and had to take it with the knife, and almost died killing it. Then the next guy I came up against (around the corner) killed me XD But now I know that you have to explore all the houses and stuff. I'm not very far, I just met the merchant (bought the rifle + scope), and then I died cause I went into a house after I though I killed everyone behind me, and as I was fighting like 3 guys in the next room, one of those guys with the bombs blew up and threw me right in the middle of everyone and they swarmed me and I died XD But i'm play it safer next time. Yeah, no one really blows out of windows or anything (yet), really. Like in RE2 you'll be walking down a halway and 5 arms'll blow through a borded up window and kill you. The scariest thing thats happened is I almost set off a trip wire and I stepped on a bear trap. I'm actually having fun and stuff XD Does the guy with the chainsaw come soon? Cause my friend said after you go through the village and do stuff and stuff, the chainsaw guy comes at you... I'm looking forward to it (muhuwahaha.....)

Mo, try playing up to the village (with the chainsaw peep), and then just starting over. That's usually enough to get you familiar with the controls and how everything works to make life a little easier. RE4 has great hit detection, by the way: Hit the head to make them writhe, holding their face. You can run up to them and KICK them when they're stumbling, hitting anyone nearby and knocking them to the ground. Additionally, you are invincible during the KICK animation, so don't be afraid to run towards a crowd and KICK them all onto the ground. Also, you have a chance to make their head explode on the spot regardless of how much HP they have left Their their upper arm to make them hold their shoulder, saying ow. This is actually not the best spot to hit them, because it almost looks like a headshot at first, and you try to go and KICK, but it's not D8 Hit their lower arm to make them drop their weapon. If they're holding lit dynamite, you only have to hit their lower arm to make it explode, NOT the dynamite itself :3 If they throw it, though, shoot the dynamite. Hit their body to do nothing in particular except damage. Shoot their thigh to make them fall onto the ground while they're running, or to stumble them briefly. Shoot their calves to make them fall when they're running, or to drop them to their knees if they're walking/standing. When they're on their knees, you can do a different kind of KICK that hits them and everyone behind him (instead of around you). I like the other KICK (headshot KICK) better, to be honest. Later in the game, once you enter the Castle, (beginning of Chapter 3), your KICK turns into a SUPLEX, which hurts alot but only hits one peep. :3 Remember, your knife can do the same thing your gun can! Namely, if you cut their face, you can run up and KICK them (but you don't get the instantkill chance). KICKS are very good for conserving ammo, because they take FOREVER to get back up off the ground. You have plenty of time to knife them up while they're getting up. Oh, quick note on the knife: If you hold down the A button to keep slashing repeatedly, you can normally stunlock a single Ganado To get the chainsaw peep to appear, go into the village, keep going past the burning body, and on the left you should see an open doorway with a fence around it. Go inside there, and you see a cutscene. Go upstairs and pick up the shotgun Oh, by the way, there are plenty places where things pop out of strange places. Like... tenacles from the ceiling... (Verdurgo.. I hated that fight)

Nice beginners guide Aleu I like it. But yeah, if you missed the shotgun in the villiage, I highly recommend going back to get it, even if you have to fight off Mr. Chainsaw. ;D

Yeah, you're gonna want that shotgun.
I also recommend carrying several flash and incener... the red grenades.

Agreed, the flash are especially handy for when the villager's heads sometimes turn into those parasite things

Keep a couple hand grenades as well. They have a splash much bigger than you'd think they do. By far the best grenade IMO :3 I recommend to pick up these guns: Red9 - Upgrade to Exclusive Striker - I don't care how much you upgrade it, but do Firepower as much as you can. Semi-Auto Rifle - Exclusive is okay, but you rarely have to shoot that quickly. Broken Butterfly - Exclusive is a must. This gun is winning in very small form. Don't get the TMP D:< Useless piece of crap if there ever was one. After you beat the game, get the Handcannon and upgrade it

No, it's really not. D: It guzzles ammo like a biatch. Not to mention it has a crappy 1.8 firepower when fully upgraded. That's less than the Punisher, the single worst handgun to sully this game with its name.
Sure it gets 250 bullets when it's fully upgraded, but seriously, that's not that good. Emptying the clip will do 450 damage. Respectable, but think:
That's the same as 90 shots with the Red9, 37.5 rounds with the Striker, 30 with the Semi-Auto Rifle, and a meager 9 with the Broken Butterfly.
Think about how often you come across Pistol ammo: Usually between 10-20 bullets per pickup, and pickups come very often.
Think about how often you come across Shottie ammo: Slightly less per pickup, 5-15, but your shottie can spread the damage to alot of enemies in a spread.
Think about how often you come across Rifle ammo: Rarer, yes, but with the added advantage of piercing enemies. So like the shottie, it can spread damage around.
Now, the Broken Butterfly. I admit, ammo is very uncommon, but look at the gun itself: It's got 70 DPS. Your TMP? 18.
TMP ammo can be found in boxes of up to a whopping 100. Yay, but you find like, two of them throughout the entire game. Most of it is in the form of 25 packs, or 50 packs.
In summary:
Red9 > TMP because of more common ammo, and greater damage per shot.
Shottie > TMP because of still more ammo, greater damage per shot, and spread damage.
Rifle > TMP because of about equal ammo, but greater damage per shot and long-range piercing.
Magnum > TMP because nothing beats the magnum. Less common ammo, but that's offset by the incredible firepower.
TMP is good for one thing, and that is stunning people to get kicks and suplexes in. Which you can do with the knife anyway.
Overall, I say screw the TMP and get a Shottie and 'nades for fighting mobs.

I have to kind of agree with Kriv, I've found the TMP useful during one playthrough, although I will admit, I've only used it one playthrough. Bah, does it really matter your weapon choice? You can probably make it through with whatever weapons you want.
