OMG the ToS anime! I want it to be released in English already. Do you guys think that when they translate the anime (if the do), will they have their original voices?

Tell that to the gov There's specific laws prohibiting overseas copyright infringement. This is why RPG Maker 2003 is illegal.

Tell that to the gov There's specific laws prohibiting overseas copyright infringement. This is why RPG Maker 2003 is illegal. Funny, considering that there are tons and tons of huge anime subbing sites, and manga translation sites. =P If they were so illegal, why doesn't the government stop them? I mean, MangaHelpers, for example, has 20,000+ members, and growing rapidly. Surely, such a large conglomeration of illegality would be stopped, ne?

Fan-subbed anime works too. I just hope when it's released in America officially, the characters have their original voices. And I agree about the anime subbing sites. Even though it's illegal, there are tons of sites still out there.

It's illegal whether it's licensed or not, but no legal action can be taken unless the copyright holders decide to. Legal action has been threatened once or twice. It was basically, 'take (insert manga name here) off your site, or else.' Obviously, the site took the stuff off.
It is indeed surprising that more legal action hasn't been taken though. o.O
