"Fire!" Alfonso flicked his hair back as he gave the order, pointing to a tiny ship in the distance. The ship was strangely crafted, with no topsail but a long trailing edge on the bottom.
Fina clung tight to the railing of her little boat, rocking with the explosions of shells and cannonballs on either side of her. Finally, a small mortar struck the side of the ship; Fina pitched forward and struck her head on the front of the ship.
The small craft was taken into the larger Valuan cruiser, Fina was removed from the wreckage, and the boat was jettsioned in Deep Sky.

Vyse wrung his hands with anticipation, his childhood friend Aika by his side. They stood together against the mast of the Albatross, the flagship of the Dyne family.
"What's up, Vyse?" the redhead asked.
"Oh? Nothing, Aika. It's just been a while since the last raid, and..." He was cut off by a silver-haired girl, about his age that had crept up behind him.
"Got itchy fingers? Come on, Vyse, the cap'n wants us up on the top deck in five minutes, the cruiser's not that far ahead." Vyse and Aika both ran towards the ladder eagerly, followed by Aleu a minute later. "Don't run!"

Arynielle leaned against the railing of the ship, breathing in the fresh air. Turning around, due to loud clamoring, she saw Vyse, followed by Aika, pop out of the lower deck, scrambling up as fast as they could. The teen laughed, as she was quite amused at their tactics. "What's the rush? Is there something that I'm supposed to know about?" She roostered her head to the side, while Aleu came up behind the two. "Well?"

Kalphin came up from the lower deck a few seconds later, he was taking a nap, and was woken by orders to get up to the top deck.

Aleu shook her head. "Tactics? Bah! Just jump aboard and knock out whoever you can. Try not to kill anyone though, we're not murderers. Of course, if anyone gives you any sass, just chuck 'em overboard." She shrugged. "Other than that, all you have to do is jump. Cap'n Dyne'll get the Albatross right over their heads, so we should be able to drop onto the main deck."
Ahead of them, the Valuan warcruiser loomed. Slightly larger than the Albatross, the cruiser was made of nearly all metal and had a rather sleek design. Almost like a giant torpedo.
Aleu leaned over the rail and nearly had her head blown off. "Yipe. Cap'n, they've spotted us." She waved to her companions. "Time to jump. Whee!"

"Wow.. never seen anything like that before," Arynielle commented, staring in awe at the Valuan warcruiser. She shrugged. "Not that it matters."
Once the ship approached within jumping distance, Ari prepared to leap. Quick as a deer, she pole-vaulted, using her rod and landed safely on the warship. "Too easy. Anyone else care to joing me?" she called to the others.

After telling Zipper to stay behind, Kalphin drew his scimitar and leaped onto the warcruiser, ready for some action.

"They can join you at the bottom of Deep Sky," said a Valuan soldier, poking his baton against Ari's chin. "Drop your weapons and... urk!" Aleu landed on top of him, poking his limp form with her blade. "What was that... eh!" A gunshot from a nearby Valuan pinged past her, sailing off into the sky. "Well then. Ari? Kalphin? Shall we begin?"
---
Vyse landed on the other end of the deck, deftly knocking someone over the head and flooring him. Aika flung her boomerang around the deck, striking someone behind Aleu before the 'rang came back into her hands. "Wheee!!"

"Hn. Saved my ass and she probabaly didn't know it," Ari mumbled to herself with a wry grin. "Alright. Let's get going!" Arynielle flung her rod at a soldier, sweeping him off his feet. "Gotcha!" She ran across the deck, swiftly striking every enemy in sight with her silver tipped rod, knocking them unconcious. "Look at that! Who's the master?"

A Valuan soldier appeared behind Ari, determined to strike her down. He fell with a loud thump as Astronna hit him on the head with the hilt of one of her curved blades, "What's the deal everyone? You all decided to go on a raid without me?" Astronna winked at her fellow pirates.

Kalphin, knowing he wasn't supposed to kill, thrust his knee into a soldiers gut, then whacked him with the butt of his scimitar's handle on the head, knocking him out.

"Astronna! Nice of you to join us. We thought you'd want to sleep in today, this cruiser's small fry." Aleu thwacked a Valuan in the shoulder, snapping the bone and dropping him like a rock. "And it's kinda boring too. Cover me for a sec? I wanted to try a spell." Making her way over to Astronna, Aleu sheathed her blade and held her hands in front of her, in the proper spellcasting form. At least, it was supossed to be proper. Aleu thought it looked kinda dorky, even though it worked.
"Moons, give me strength! Pyri!" Fire blossomed over the ship's deck, singing (singeing?) boots and pants, and burning faces and bodies. Aleu blinked, that worked better than she thought.

Astronna disarmed the Valuan soldiers who came up from behind with ease. Her moves were like a dance as she weaved between her opponents, cutting them down as Aleu finished her spell.
"How could we lose to such a kid?" one soldier groaned.
"We're pirates, that's why," Astronna replied with the smallest of smirks. "Be glad that we're Blue Rouges and will only take your valuables, not your lives," Astronna turned to the others, "They're starting to get more organized, I say it's about time to pay a visit to the captain of this ship." Astronna left it unsaid that these soldiers were of a higher caliber that those on normal cruisers. There's something going on here. This ship is more than meets the eye.

"Well, not that this isn't fun, but I think we should get moving along" Kalphin said as he slashed a sword out of a soldiers hand.

Jukka jumped down onto the Valuan War Cruiser, joining the rest of the group. "Sorry..I missed the call to board the ship." "No problem, lets get going." Lead by Vyse, the rest of the group continued further into the ship. They came to a large room stacked with supplies. There were stairs above, but before they went up them, they met a man with blonde hair, and a snobby voice. His bodyguard next to him was carrying a young girl in silver clothes. She was not concious. "Who is she?" Aleu demanded to know. "Who cares, just let her go!" Astronna said. "Amazing how you got this far in. It matters not. Do not bother me anymore." The man said as he disappeared behind a door with the man and girl. Aika began running up the stairs after them, with the rest of the group close behind.

The gang of air pirates rushed up the stairs, following the arrogant man into the room beyond. Vyse and the others entered the room only to find it empty. There was another door ahead of them. -- Vyse tried opening the door, "Damn it! It must be locked from the other side." "There must be some way to get through, perhaps there's another way," Astronna walked toward Vyse, looking around the room for something that might help their situation. The door they dame through and the door ahead of them seemed to be the only way in or out of the room, until Astronna say the small passage way to the right of the locked door. "Hey look you guys! There's another door over here!" She called out to the others. -- Vyse rushed over to the door, finding it unlocked he went through, surprisingly to a small landing outside of the ship. "There's a ladder here that leads to another door!" He called back to the rest," Come on! Lets go!" The early morning wind tossed his hair around as he started to climb down the ladder.
